Hi Hailey and Patrick, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Right Choice Heating and Air is a small local business that is majority female-owned and family-operated. We started our business to provide premium service at a neighborly price. Far too many people have been taken advantage of in our industry when the customers are at the mercy of the service provider. Our company policy is to treat our customers the way we would like to be treated. We feel no one should have to overpay for what we believe is a human right, to be comfortable in your own home.
Whether it is raising indoor air quality, high-efficiency system installations remodel, or repair of existing HVAC equipment we give options and let you decide what works best for your family and their needs. Right Choice strongly believes in taking care of the community, its members and provides services to those the most in need at no cost, and donates a portion of proceeds to charitable organizations. We also offer discounts to all first responders, hospital staff, teachers as well elderly.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This industry has busy seasons and slow seasons. Every HVAC company in Utah has to face our state’s cold winters, hot summers, and perfect weather in the spring and fall. That being said every home has at least a heater, and most have an air conditioner as well as fireplaces.
With the booming construction industry in Utah, there is no shortage of our state’s need for honest and trustworthy service providers. A small company that was started from scratch has obstacles to overcome but our customers and their happiness are why we do it.

Starting a business from scratch is always a major risk. It puts our family in a position where we have never been. It’s a financial risk with a lot of stress involved. The reward on the opposite side of the major risk is security and happiness for our family and our customers.
Having a large network helps but borrowing money for advertising and marketing in hopes that people call is not what we do. We also pass those savings on to our customers. Word of mouth and trust is the best way to spread our message and help people in our community.
