Hi Rachel, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always loved being creative – whether that’s writing, making art, or decorating my home. And after I graduated from college, I saw a gap in the interior design market. So much of design is catered to luxury clientele. I launched Monday Morning Interiors three years ago with the goal of bringing beautiful homes to the everyday person. Since launching, I’ve worked with clients across the United States and Canada in every type of situation – rentals, manufactured homes, custom dream builds, and everything in between. I am so proud of what I have accomplished and can’t wait to see where it goes!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
If running a small business has taught me anything, it’s that there’s always another obstacle waiting around the corner! But, I like the challenge of figuring things out, coming up with creative solutions, and learning as I go. I’ve been running this business for 3 years now and it’s been an uphill climb since the get-go, but I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way!

Monday Morning Interiors is a full-service interior design studio – with a twist. We do all of our work remotely, which means we have clients all across the US and Canada. Unlike other online interior design studios, we meet with each of our clients via video chat and where we spend time really getting to know your individual home; how you need it to function, your personal style, and how we can help you create a beautiful home.
We offer many different types of services including quick 1-hour consultations, top to bottom renovation plans, kitchen remodel planning, furniture sourcing, fit and finish consultations to help figure out the final touches and layout planning to help maximize your space.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
I launched this business a few months after graduating college. In the time since I have learned so much about perseverance! There will always be new things to figure out and new challenges to solve, but just by putting one foot in front of the other, I have learned how to build a website, better serve clients, network with furniture companies and ultimately help so many more people with their homes!
