Today we’d like to introduce you to Sasha Taylor.
Sasha, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am originally from Pennsylvania and knew as I went through college majoring in Nutritional Sciences and Kinesiology, I wanted to become a physician that focused on the whole person and used nutrition, lifestyle, and more to treat people rather than just medications. I went to medical school in Tempe, Arizona to become a Naturopathic Doctor. After graduation I worked with different doctors and clinics across the country. I also worked for a major functional lab that focuses on metabolic and environmental exposure assessments as a clinical content manager and consultant. After years of experience, I decided it was time to start building something for myself and the community I live in where naturopathic care is extremely difficult to come by.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not always been smooth sailing. I have moved around a lot. I went from Pennsylvania to Arizona to Connecticut to Utah working with different practices. Trying to get established has definitely been difficult but has led to many connections across the country. When I realized my family will be staying more permanently in Utah, I knew it was the perfect place to establish my practice and start serving my neighbors along with Arizonans. Building anything from the ground up in a new place alone requires quite a bit!
As you know, we’re big fans of Radix Integrative Medicine. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Radix Integrative was built from the ground up. The word radix means “root” in Latin, and that philosophy shapes everything I do. As a naturopathic physician, I believe lasting health changes happen when we stop chasing symptoms and start uncovering the root causes driving them.
I founded Radix Integrative to be the kind of practice I felt patients were missing: a place where they are truly heard, where complex cases are welcomed, and where no detail is considered too small. My career has taken me through diverse clinical experiences that taught me how to connect the dots when others cannot. Those experiences became the foundation of who I am as a physician and what I bring to every patient encounter.
I primarily work with women navigating hormone imbalances, fertility concerns, postpartum recovery, menopause, chronic fatigue, stress-related conditions, and environmental exposures such as mold, metals, and other toxic burdens. Many of my patients arrive after years of searching for answers, often feeling dismissed, frustrated, or told their symptoms are “normal.”
One of the most rewarding moments in practice is watching the relief wash over a patient when they realize someone is finally listening. Then comes the next breakthrough: connecting the pieces and uncovering the why behind their symptoms. That is when healing becomes possible.
What sets Radix Integrative apart is a commitment to looking deeper. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all medicine. Every patient has a unique story, a unique root cause, and a unique path forward. My mission is to help people skip the endless cycle of disappointment and empower them with clarity, answers, and a plan that creates meaningful, lasting transformation.
Because true healing starts at the root.
What’s next?
The future of Radix Integrative is focused on thoughtful growth. I want to help more patients, but I am committed to doing so in a way that preserves the personalized experience and strong relationships that make this work so meaningful.
I’m looking forward to opening a dedicated in-person space, expanding available services, and continuing to grow my expertise in peptides and regenerative medicine. I’m also excited to collaborate with like-minded practitioners, businesses, and community partners who share a passion for helping women thrive. By building those connections and expanding access to care, I hope to reach more people who are tired of searching for answers and are ready to get to the root of their health concerns. Watching those transformations unfold is what excites me most about the future.
