Today we’d like to introduce you to Saúl Cervantes
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Arrived to Utah from Michoacán, Mexico in 2005, started working for a company with my uncle doing stucco. Worked with several companies for 18 years, doing stucco and stone. My brother in law and sister in law encouraged/motivated me to start my own business which I did last year (July 2023). My wife, son, and I have worked together to make the company grow little by little. I can proudly say we have grown and allow our work to speak for itself.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely has not been easy, we’ve had our ups and downs, but I have the best support team which is my family. Trying to manage work and family while working with your family has been something new for all 3 of us to handle. My wife and I have not always been on the same page in running the business but communicating and compromising has really helped our relationship and our business.
As you know, we’re big fans of Utah Stucco Stone and Repairs. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We work in the construction industry, we specialize in stucco, stone, foundation plastering and we do ALOT of stucco repairs. Of course theirs a lot of competition out their but I’ve learned and understand that the sun shines for everyone. Yes I do wish every bid that we do; potential customers will say “YES” to the job. But I had to understand that our prices are not for everyone and theirs always someone out their that can do the job for a cheaper price.
What sets us apart from other similar companies is that I love what I do and seen the final results is very satisfying. We always use the highest quality of material and guarantee our jobs and stand by our name, I l really enjoy seen our customers happy when my job is done. If their happy, we’re happy and our company grows.

We’ve learned new types of stucco/plastering such as Venetian plaster in having my own business. Venetian plaster has been very popular in Utah and it’s a whole new method in applying plaster, we’ve done fireplaces and kitchen hoods, I don’t think we can ever stop learning new techniques or methods, and we’re all for it!
What makes you happy?
What makes me happy is seen happy customers after my job is done, realizing that the time and effort I put in the job really paid off. Being able to see the before and after results is very satisfying and makes me happy.
