Today we’d like to introduce you to Tracy Holt.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’m a second generation owner of Performance Place in South Jordan Utah it is a automotive shop that shop was started by my father in 1974 it is the the only job I have ever had. I started sweeping the floors as a young man and have worked in every aspect of the business. The shop is still family ran with my brother, sisters and children working in the shop. It currently employees 15 people and are looking to expand.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like any business we have had our ups and downs. Being in a family business has many ups and down but we have managed to always do what’s best for the company and always putting the employees first.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Performance Place is a family run company, that specializes on general auto and diesel repair. We are known for doing quality work at fair price. We believe that our customers are family and will not recommend any service that we would recommend on our own family’s vehicles. We believe in developing trust with out customer’s so we can service there needs for a lifetime. We provide out customer with a complete transparent inspection of there vehicle that help our customers make informed decisions with no pressure.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
By providing a clean, and safe work place for my employee’s. Seeing my team contently achieving there dreams in work and personal life.
