Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexandra Plancarte.
Alexandra, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Growing up, art was always my passion. At the start of high school, I was accepted into Dixie Technical College’s Digital Media Design program, where I gained a variety of creative skills to add to my toolbox. By the end of my last semester, I had developed the early concept for Astarxela, driven by my desire to pursue something in the creative field.
For a while, Astarxela remained in the air, it wasn’t something I was consistent with. After accepting a social media job, I gained access to professional equipment, which not only allowed me to grow but also got me to invest in my own gear. Along the way, I learned to quiet my overthinking and start taking real action toward my goals.
Even now, Astarxela is still in its early stages. I still continue to explore my creative direction and learn to trust the process.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I’ve had Astarxela since 2022, but it wasn’t until recently that I started truly taking action on it. Being in the early stages means I’m still figuring things out, but that’s part of the process.
One of my biggest struggles has been overthinking. It’s true what they say: you are your own biggest critic, and that can hold you back more than anything else.
Another challenge was not having the right equipment. In a way, it made me feel insecure about the quality of my work. I’ve learned to release that frustration, give myself more grace, and let go of ego.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a creative who can do it all, from graphic design to photoshop. With Astarxela, I focus on marketing and portrait photography.
Right now, I’m pursuing my degree in business marketing at Utah Tech University. I’m using my knowledge to help businesses create imaginative, unique, and impactful media campaigns. I dream to one day work as a creative in the fashion or sports industry.
What sets me apart is the attention I put into every detail. An upside of being an over thinker I guess. For me, creating isn’t just about making something beautiful. it’s about crafting visuals that make a difference. When my work helps someone, that’s what makes the happiest.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Although I’m the early stages of Astarxela, I hope that future clients can ensure their trust with me. You can reach me through my Instagram and email. I would be happy to collaborate with you and make your vision come to life.
I’m excited for what the future holds!
