Today we’d like to introduce you to Jarica Jamison.
Hi Jarica, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My music journey has always been about more than performing—it’s about sharing hope and faith through music.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to travel and give musical devotionals for, youth events, and concerts, where I combine music with my personal testimony and messages of encouragement. Those experiences have shown me that music has the power to touch hearts, strengthen faith, and remind people they are never alone.
Alongside my devotionals, I formed The Jarica Jamison Band and have continued writing and performing original country/rock music throughout Utah. I’ve also been blessed to sing on the Youth Theme albums for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, performing “I Can Do All Things” and “Truth.”
When I’m not on stage, I’m a photographer who loves capturing meaningful moments for couples and families. Whether I’m speaking at a devotional, performing with my band, or behind the camera, my passion is the same: to inspire, connect, and help people feel seen.
I’m still chasing the dream, writing new music, and trusting God with every step of the journey.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t always been an easy road, and there have been seasons when it’s felt discouraging. Along the way, I’ve encountered challenges and people who made the journey harder than I expected. But through it all, I’ve never given up.
When something is placed on your heart, it becomes a part of who you are. No matter the obstacles or setbacks, that passion never truly leaves—it continues to pull you forward.
I know this is what I’ll be doing for the rest of my life. My hope is to use music to uplift others, strengthen faith, and leave the world a little better than I found it, one song and one person at a time.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a country and Christian singer, songwriter, and speaker who is passionate about using music to inspire, uplift, and connect with others. Through my original music, live performances, and firesides, I share messages of faith, hope, and encouragement while creating experiences that help people feel seen and strengthened.
I specialize in blending music and storytelling to create meaningful moments for audiences of all ages. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to perform at firesides, youth events, concerts, and gatherings throughout the region, sharing songs and messages that are centered around faith, perseverance, and the experiences we all go through in life. I’ve also been blessed to be featured on The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Youth Theme albums, singing “I Can Do All Things” and “Truth.”
One of the things I’m most proud of is the opportunity to use my voice for something bigger than myself. Whether I’m performing with my band, sharing my testimony at a fireside, or writing a new song, my goal is always to help people feel hope, feel closer to God, and know they are not alone.
What sets me apart is the purpose behind my music. I don’t just want to entertain—I want to make a difference. I believe music has the power to touch hearts, strengthen faith, and bring people together. This journey hasn’t always been easy, but the calling I feel to share music and inspire others has never faded, and I’m committed to doing this for the rest of my life.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
The quality I feel is most important to my success is integrity. For me, success is not just about recognition, opportunities, or how many people are listening—it’s about staying true to who I am and the purpose behind what I do.
Integrity means being honest, keeping my commitments, treating people with kindness and respect, and making sure my actions align with my values. In the music industry, it can be easy to get caught up in comparison, numbers, or trying to fit a certain image, but I believe staying authentic is what creates lasting connections.
I want people to know that the person they see on stage is the same person they would meet off stage. Whether I’m writing a song, performing at a fireside, or connecting with someone personally, my goal is to lead with sincerity and use my music to make a positive impact.
