Conversations with Jasmine Simmons

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Simmons.

Hi Jasmine, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
For as long as I can remember, I believed that I had “power” in my hands. I remember from a young age volunteering to rub my mom’s back or her feet when she was in pain because I could see the relief that came in doing so. Foot zoning came into my life when I was a teenager, looking for another way to alleviate my chronic migraines. I was pleasantly surprised by my body’s response to my first zone.

Over time I found more than just physical improvement. I found that emotionally and mentally I was improving as well. My mind was absolutely blown! Several years later, I became a certified Foot Zone practitioner through We Do Feet Seminars. Through embracing foot zoning I feel that I have been able to put the “power” in my hands to good use. I have found zoning to be a way to serve people, love people, and help direct them to an additional path toward healing. Whatever that looks like for them.

There is a quote that I love by Jane Harrington that says, “When you touch a body, you touch the whole person, the intellect, the spirit, and the emotions.” I believe this to be true with foot zoning as well and I am always honored that I get the opportunity to connect with people on so many levels. Foot zoning has been a great blessing and tool in my life.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I would say that learning Foot Zoning and applying it has been more smooth than not. However, opening a Foot Zoning business has had its moments of rocky roads.

I think there are more people becoming open to the knowledge of reflexology and how it can benefit the body, but I also think that “rubbing” people’s feet for a living still seems taboo for a lot of people.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
If you are unfamiliar with Foot Zoning or Reflexology, it is the complete application of pressure points on the feet corresponding to all organs, glands, structures, and systems of the body that support the body’s homeostasis.

People come to me when they feel out of balance physically. mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

I am really proud of the space that I have been able to create to assist my clients in finding comfort, balance, and an additional path to finding their healing. Whatever and however that looks like for them.

Clients can expect a private and relaxed environment when they come to me for a Foot Zone.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs, or other resources you think our readers should check out?
I love the book. “How to win friends and influence people”. I feel like it has helped me to become a better listener and a better business owner. For my work specifically, I also really appreciate the book, “Feelings Buried Alive Never Die”. ”
