Hi Leena, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey began in 2015 when I started providing lash extension services. I built my studio from the ground up, focusing on providing exceptional service and quality. As my business grew, I encountered a common challenge: finding lash extension products that met my high standards. After trying numerous brands and consistently finding them lacking, I decided to take matters into my own hands. About halfway through my studio’s development, I launched my own brand of lash extensions (Luxom Lash.) This allowed me to ensure that every product used in my studio, and offered to my clients, was rigorously tested, consistent with every employee, and met my precise requirements. Today, my business combines a thriving salon with a product line that prioritizes quality and performance, all stemming from a passion for excellence in the beauty industry.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. One of the biggest hurdles was the extensive product development phase. Perfecting the formulations for our lash products required a significant amount of trial and error. It was crucial to me that we achieved the highest quality, and that meant numerous rounds of testing and adjustments. Beyond that, finding a manufacturer who shared our commitment to quality and was willing to work with us on our specific requirements was another major challenge. It’s often underestimated how much time and effort goes into creating a product that meets exacting standards.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My work centers around creating and providing high-quality lash extension products and comprehensive education. We specialize in empowering lash artists with the tools and knowledge they need to excel. We’re known for our unwavering commitment to quality, both in our product formulations and our educational programs.
What I’m most proud of is the integrity of our education. Many brands offer training, but we go above and beyond, ensuring our students receive detailed, thorough instruction that truly prepares them for success. We don’t just sell products; we build careers.
What sets us apart is our holistic approach. We understand that exceptional products and exceptional education go hand-in-hand. We invest heavily in perfecting our formulations and meticulously crafting our training programs, ensuring that every detail is covered. We are also known for the extensive testing that we do on all of our products, and only release them once we have proven that they are the best available. We genuinely care about the success of our clients and students, and that dedication is reflected in everything we do..
What does success mean to you?
I believe success is multifaceted. While financial stability is certainly a component, I define true success by a deeper set of values and achievements. For me, it’s about being able to stand firmly behind the quality of our products and upholding our core ethical principles. When we can confidently say that we’ve delivered on our promises and maintained our integrity, that’s a significant measure of success.
Furthermore, given our focus on education, I see our success directly tied to the success of our customers. Our goal is to empower lash artists to build thriving careers. When we see our students excelling and achieving their professional aspirations, that’s when I truly feel we’ve succeeded. It’s about building a community of skilled professionals, and seeing their growth is the ultimate reward.
