Lisa, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is Lisa Junior, I am an advanced Aesthetician, I am from Salt Lake City, UT, I grew up in a low-income community, (Rose Park) my childhood was a roller coaster, full of different traumas.
I when I was 15 years old, I found myself in foster care, living at the Ywca teen home with my 1-year-old baby. With very little education and support, I was introduced to the adult industry by a man, I trusted.
I struggled, leaving the adult industry on and off for 14 years. After sharing my story on the Internet, the overwhelming response and support. I was blessed with some amazing mentors. I learned so much from my experience it all boils down to a choice.
I enrolled in aesthetic school and 2018 and I found my passion as an advanced Aesthetician. It provided me a path out of domestic trafficking after 14 years.
In 2020, I opened my first salon in Las Vegas Nevada, during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. My business’s value proposition offers various beauty services from advanced aesthetics to nails and eyelashes. hair. Our unique approach to an all-inclusive beauty space was so successful, in our first year we have expanded to Salt Lake City, Utah!
I love aesthetics. I am very passionate about corrective skincare – especially acne-prone skin. When someone walks in the door with various levels of acne problems, I can immediately see their self-esteem is negatively impacted. After I get them on a good skin-care regiment with regular facials we can see noticeable results within the first month. It is an amazing feeling when a client comes back in holding themselves a little higher and I can see their confidence has risen.

I contribute my success to my customers and friends who have supported me on my journey, I am a woman who supports humans with understanding and support we can change the way we help people.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I’ve had to learn a lot of hard lessons.
You have to choose every day to be a good person and be the best version of yourself.
I struggled with complex PTSD and ADHD being in the game (adult industry) changes the way your brain processes things. I’ve had lots of trauma treatment. I still struggle with the depression and triggers.
The only way to change where you’re at in life is to change your environment, your friends, sometimes even family. Change can be uncomfortable and scary. The peace you feel after doing the work is beautiful. I wouldn’t change my situation if my life depended on it, my story has helped many others move forward in their life. I would do it all over again if it helps people see how amazing the future can be if they do the work.
