Today we’d like to introduce you to Mary Perry
Hi Mary, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
As a native Utahn growing up in the Greater Salt Lake area I was given the opportunity to be with nature and it has been a driving force since my childhood. I started drawing and painting as a way to celebrate nature
later photography has been a driving force. I am a Nature and Landscape Photographer it is my hope to share what I see through my lens to not only celebrate the beauty of nature but to help educate those who are willing to see.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As with any creative venture the road is not always a smooth one. Finding a path to share your art can be a struggle within our community. The endeavor can be expensive and trying to keep up with different exceptions and styles of work.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a painter and Photographer
To me they go hand in hand with what I hope to share. Nature photography and my Aspen and Bird paintings.
What I am most proud of? That people want my work in there homes
I tell a story it is the early mornings or the late nights trying to find my subjects and taking that chance to be the best I can be.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Respect for others, property and nature. To give it the best I can in whatever my endeavor is.
