Today we’d like to introduce you to Murda Classik.
Murda , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started in the music journey in 2003 as a dj and I started producing recording my own music at the age of 15/16 it’s been a long road I’ve took many losses but the most valuable thing is I’ve learned countless lessons. I’ve produced for legendary names in the industry and have worked with very talented no name rising individuals. I created a signature sound product of the musician and realistic environment I grew up around. Today after 23 years doing what I love I wouldn’t change anything but the push and the drive I think consistency is key. Murda is here and ain’t going anywhere you can email me or message me on social media if you’d like to work I always enjoy working with new talent. murdaclassik@gmail.com social media handle @murdathademon
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The biggest struggles I have faced in this musical journey is how much time it requires away from home and loved ones. The advice I can give the new generation is that if you have a family, wife kids this will take the majority of your time because there’s not halfway in, you’re either in all the way or not at all. I’ve took many losses my kids being the most important loss.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a music producer I make the music for a lot of artists also record them engineer the song, I’m blessed to say I pretty much do everything a record label does or offers I also shoot music videos do the graphic designing for the artwork covers shoot photograph a little bit of everything. Artists come to me because I’m a one stop shop lol literally. My studio is located inside Lab Junkies in Sandy Utah.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Don’t let secondary opinions influence you, no one is a master starting out and it’s only a waste of time if you allow it to be. Focus and be persistent and consistent. Remember hustle outweighs talent on its best day. I say that because unfortunately there’s a lot of famous artists in today’s world that have minimal talent for my musical taste but they have shown countless times how much they hustle and they deserve to be where they are. So in short I say hustle hard and drop consistently.
