Hi Preston, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My humble beginnings began at traditional public school, and attending Catholicism class on the weekend. Growing up with God helped me become the man I am today. Faith brought me to my purpose in life. Wherever I go today, I am happy to share the good news. A passion for writing led me to a love for storytelling. That’s where you have found me today. Author of Badge in the Shadows, Smoke On The Cruise, Under the Caribbean Moon, The Odd Jobs Series, and more exciting reads! I’ve always had a love for music so you can find my sounds under Heavy P on all music platforms! Writing gave me the avenue and the life I desire, because I put all of my trust in my lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Hallelujah to God! Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Nothing was ever given to me easily as an adult. I’ve earned everything I have. I am blessed that God gave me two parents who cared about me and my younger brother. I carry on my parents legacy each passing moment. The way I win is the same we all win. So let’s focus on winning together.

The Shields and Shadows Saga, and The Odd Jobs Series is what I am most known for. All of my music under Heavy P is what I am most proud of. My website myoddman.com continues to impress me. I continue writing stories, articles, and music. What makes me a standout is that nobody else writes like me. There are no comparisons to me. I’ve mastered originality and very soon the world will know.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
From a young age I have been punctual, poignant, and potent. Growing up in the 1990’s and into the early 2000’s will always be the greatest time to be alive for me.
