Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Brady
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’m Samantha Brady!
I started hair and makeup over 5 and 1/2 years ago. I was heading toward being a single mom of 2 kids and knew I needed a career to support us. I weighed options on what to do and decided to go with something that I was already passionate about! So then I took a course and got licensed in makeup. I added hair styling about a year into my career as well. I love both!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There’s a lot of ups and downs when you’re a business owner. My business thrives only when I’m putting work in, that’s kind of a hard reality that I had to learn. It wasn’t just about doing makeup and hair- I had to learn a lot of business strategies and invest in myself.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I have worked with iFit and Icon Fitness consistently for over a year. I worked two seasons of The Chosen tv series. I was the second head makeup artist for a
global movie called Revelations.
How do you define success?
I feel like I have had success in my career, but I don’t want to stop growing and stop having goals for myself and my business.
