Hi Brayde, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I just got started about five years ago with jewelry, I’ve always been into stones and crystals. I thought why not put that into a wearable piece of art. I just recently have started to do essential oil blends.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I hasn’t been a smooth road, sleepless nights and trying to hold a full time job with a little one running around was challenging. I also had to put my business on hold for about a year, fell on hard times, but I have been working on expanding my business and my knowledge in the jewelry industry.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I make jewelry with stones and crystals. I wire wrap them and make pendants! I have been making very unique pieces, and a lot of it is locally sourced or sourced from Nevada and you won’t find it anywhere else. I am very proud of all of my work, from my early work to what I can do now. I am happy to put more in my tool belt. I am proud of my essential oil blends as well. I love creating my own products & my 7 year old daughter loves creating these blends with me as well. I love having her apart of the process.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Having a good getter attitude. There are days where I wanted to give up. But I kept going & I still keep going. The reward of knowing my pieces will go to someone who loves them just as me, that to me is what makes me feel successful.
