Today we’d like to introduce you to Max Lundberg
Hi Max, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Growing up, I never really felt like I fit in. I was an angry kid, filled with anxiety, and most of my childhood is just a blur of outbursts and frustration. My parents were often on the receiving end, and by high school, I was constantly at odds with them and the school staff. The only thing I enjoyed was sports, but even that faded by my junior year. I drifted between friend groups, trying to find people I connected with, but that often led me into trouble. By my senior year, I stopped going to class altogether, trying to make a career out of music. That passion didn’t stick either.
Thankfully, my older brother stepped in. He encouraged me to finish high school online, and that’s when I first got interested in entrepreneurship and self-development. Those two things became my foundation. And while things were rough for a while, I’m incredibly thankful to God and my parents for being such a huge blessing in my life. My relationship with them has healed, and my mom is now my best friend. Looking back, I think my drive today comes from three things: wanting to provide a good life for my current and future family, my knack for solving problems, and my ongoing issue with authority.
After trying different business models while working in sales, I finally found something that feels right—a business that lets me be creative, involve family, and create time, location, and financial freedom. Soon to be Luxora Home, as it’s currently being developed, this venture will allow me to modernize the interior design industry and truly find fulfillment.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road at all. I feel like most of my life has been a fight; nothing has come easy. Everyone carries their own hard stuff, and I don’t indulge in self-pity or expect it from anyone else. However, I believe the trials and hardships I’ve faced have shaped me into who I am today and have enabled me to be where I’m at, even at just 20 years old. Each challenge has taught me resilience and fueled my drive to create a better future for myself and my family.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m currently working in sales, and I genuinely love it. It gives me the opportunity to develop a skill that will always provide income, which is invaluable. I specialize in building relationships and understanding customer needs, which helps me connect with clients on a deeper level. Working in sales has also taught me patience, as it often requires navigating challenges and setbacks. I try to take everything as a lesson, which helps me grow both personally and professionally.
What I’m most proud of is the man I’m becoming rather than just my achievements. The personal growth I’ve experienced means more to me than any number on a paycheck. What sets me apart from others is my resilience and determination. I’ve faced a lot of challenges in life, and those experiences have shaped my perspective, making me more empathetic and driven to succeed. I’m committed to using my skills to create something meaningful, and soon to be Luxora Home reflects that vision.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
My favorite childhood memory was our family nights. Looking back, I don’t think I fully appreciated them when I was younger, but if I could go back in time, I would love to drown in those moments spent with all my siblings and parents at home. Those nights were filled with laughter, games, and just being together, and they hold a special place in my heart. They remind me of the importance of family and connection, something I cherish even more now.
