Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Inkley.
Michelle, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey started when at 24. I had a baby with Down Syndrome. It made it so difficult to have a 9 to 5 job and yet we did need the extra cash to get through school.
I started helping with a wedding planning, photography, and anything I could do to make extra money
Because I love to create, Instagram seemed a perfect fit when the app first came out
That helped too solidify my wedding planning business turned, Organizing business turned decorating Christmas Tree business, into my lifestyle page that it’s become today.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has been such a difficult one raising a child with Special Needs and then having two more children after that four in total. My time was stretched to its max. Family needs come first and providing for our family was our number one priority.
I think being creative really helped me stretch our dollars, and find ways to earn an income with what I love to do in the hours I was able to do it

I am most known for hosting beautiful parties, using a theme, a fun backdrop, and usually a grazing table
Gathering women is such a joy for me
I love a personal touch with every event that I do. I want it to be perfect for my client. I have the same goal for organizing their home or decorating their Christmas tree. Every person has a different style and creating something for them is a challenge but also a beautiful goal I have.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Details that’s the number one thing that I am so proud of, the tiniest details of ribbon color, or flowers signs, and food, everything coordinating together. It’s so easy to do a cookie cutter party
But it’s so much more memorable and special if the details are exactly perfect for that person
