Daily Inspiration: Meet Paloma Tillotson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Paloma Tillotson.

Hi Paloma, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always had a passion for content creation. As a content creator and social media manager, I’ve spent years helping brands tell their story in a way that feels real and meaningful. At the same time, I’ve always been drawn to the beauty and emotion of weddings. So when I discovered wedding content creation, it felt like the perfect combination of everything I love.

The first time I captured behind-the-scenes moments at a wedding, I knew I had found something special. It wasn’t just about creating content anymore. It was about being part of someone’s most important day and helping them remember it through the little details that might otherwise be forgotten. What started as a creative idea quickly turned into a business that lights me up.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but that’s part of what’s made the journey so meaningful. Like many creatives, I’ve dealt with the uncertainty that comes with starting something new. When I first began offering wedding content creation, it was still a newer concept, so explaining the value to clients and carving out space in the industry took time and patience.

Balancing the creative side with the business side has also been a learning curve. Between planning content, editing, managing social media, and keeping up with the fast pace of weddings, it can get overwhelming. But every challenge has taught me something. It’s pushed me to set better boundaries, refine my process, and stay grounded in why I started in the first place.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a wedding content creator and social media manager. I specialize in capturing the real and intimate moments that often go unnoticed on a wedding day. While photographers focus on the big, polished shots, I’m there to document the behind-the-scenes, the nervous smiles, the tears before the ceremony, the thoughtful details couples have spent months planning.

My background in content creation and social media allows me to deliver content that is both emotional and ready to share. Everything I create is intentional, personal, and true to the couple’s style. I focus on short-form video and phone footage to keep things natural and relatable.

What sets me apart is the way I blend storytelling with strategy. I’m not just handing over clips, I’m giving couples the kind of content that helps them relive their day and also feel excited to post and share with the people they love.

What I’m most proud of is being able to make couples feel seen and celebrated through my work. Being part of such a meaningful moment and helping preserve it in such a real way is something I never take for granted.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is that your passion can grow into something beautiful if you’re willing to be patient and stay true to your why. In the beginning, it’s easy to compare yourself to others or feel like you have to do everything perfectly. But I’ve learned that the best results come when you focus on serving people well, showing up consistently, and trusting your unique perspective.

I’ve also learned that connection matters just as much as creativity. The moments I get to share with couples are deeply personal, and being invited into that space is something I take seriously. It’s reminded me to stay present, lead with kindness, and never underestimate the power of small details.
