Hi Reagan, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Mobile IV nurses got started in Texas by two friends looking to give personalized and quick care to their community. From there, we quickly grew to Arizona, Florida, and now Utah. Now, we are the leading mobile IV company! I started with Mobile IV Nurses recently because I loved the idea of the convenience it provides for patients. Being able to help patients to overcome their minor or chronic illnesses in the comfort of their homes is an unmatched service!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Building a company from the ground up is never easy, but we’ve been lucky to have a great team to adapt and respond when needed. We are constantly evolving alongside the mobile IV industry. There seems to always be a new protocol, policy, or rule to follow as the industry grows. Our number one priority is patient safety, so we are always quick to make changes to meet the everchanging standards to be the best we can be!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I originally started my nursing career on a transplant unit at the University of Utah. I quickly moved up to ICU, where I stayed a while before moving to surgical services. I’ve been in surgical services for over 2 years now! In the surgical services world, you’re constantly starting IVs to be used during the procedures, so I brought my IV skills to Mobile IV Nurses! I’m super proud of having different skills from the multiple units I’ve been apart of. Having a broad set of skills has helped me in my professional and personal life when weird situations arise.
