Today we’d like to introduce you to Trevor Lott.
Hi Trevor , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Little backstory to to starting my career in landscaping. I have been in the industry since I was 9 years old. My dad owned a landscape company and his goal was to teach me and my brothers how to work growing up we did a lot of irrigation, maintenance and design builds. All my brothers had left working for my dad and gone on their own and I decided that I would stick around and keep going with landscaping. It wasn’t until I was about 20 years old when I really started enjoying the art of landscaping. As we started doing more and more design build with custom landscapings, I grew more and more in love with the complicated and intricate designs and installs. I’d been working for my dad for approximately 23 years and it was getting time to taking over the business. We’d rebranded two elevated Pines acquiring all his assets and starting a design build only company where we specialize in high-end luxury landscaping. We create spaces where people don’t have to leave to take a vacation. Water features,pools,pergolas, and custom hardscape. We take pride in how things are installed and how a project should turn out from in the ground with all the infrastructure and what everybody sees on the outside. Growing up my dad taught me that being trustworthy and honest in keeping your word is everything. We strive to uphold on what my dad has taught me growing up. Through following those words of wisdom has helped us grow the clientele that we have now. We are dedicated to producing and delivering most highest quality experience for people’s yards.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Running a business is never a smooth road but by understanding the way to pave a better road is key. Being honest, loyal and kind are 3 ways to help create a smooth road. Some of our biggest struggles are weather, which for landscaping can really put a wrench in gears. we are blessed to have such a great crew to help take on all our work and we couldn’t do it without each other.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We are a landscape design build company. We install all sorts of luxury outdoor living spaces. We specialize in irrigation, hardscaping, water features, pergolas, outdoor fire pits, outdoor kitchens and we are known for our quality and work in all that we install. I am most proud of my guys and what they can help us accomplish. I’m also proud in the worksmanship and craftsmanship that we deliver on every job. Whether it’s small or large. What what I believe sets us apart from others is our attention to detail and our cleanliness in how we treat projects. I am a strong believer that just because something is buried in the dirt doesn’t mean it has to look bad. I believe that all of our infrastructure that is inside the ground as is important as what is above ground. If you don’t have a solid foundation then the structure will fall.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
Well let me Begin by saying my father. Growing up my father has always taught us to be honest and to work hard. As I grow older and look back at what my father would say to me or how he would correct me that he was doing out of love and care for how I turned out. I have had some amazing customers that have put a lot of faith in my workmanship and knowledge on how to build a landscape and which has allowed me to showcase what I can really do and how we can create such a beautiful places for people. My team that works with me. They have been amazing loyal people and have really allowed us to be able to create these projects that are larger and without them we would not be able to accomplish the work as a team. Finally my beautiful wife. She has been with me and stuck through the hard time and long days taking care of our kids so that I can create a business that allows people to thrive. She has been my rock and my supporter and I love her for that.
