Today we’d like to introduce you to Bradley Heller.
Hi Bradley, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
I own the Tea Grotto – A teahouse in salt lake city Utah. I have always been interested in tea and all the cultural and health benefits it offers. I love the way tea helps people to slow down and connect with one another. If coffee is the beverage of doing, tea is the beverage of not doing. I think the world needs a lot less doing.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Owning a small business is incredibly challenging. As a small business owner, you have to be adept at all areas and facets of the business.
You must be able to intelligently direct purchasing, pricing, sales, customer service, human resources, negotiations and contracts, administration, accounts payable and receivable, marketing, design, maintenance, state and federal regulations and compliance, IT, data, etc.
Everything all the time. If I would have known how complicating and all-encompassing it is I would have chosen something that offered greater simplicity.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
The Tea Grotto strives to offer exceptional customer service and products to our customers. We specialize in loose leaf teas and tea-wares that represent all major tea centers from around the world. We strive to be a place for community and inclusivity.
We love our diverse customer base- young and old from all walks of life. Our tea menu offers a world-class selection of teas, and we have always fought to keep our prices fair. We also love to educate our customers about our various medicinal, herbal, and traditional teas and what they offer our bodily systems.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you, or support you?
Our incredible and dedicated staff is what makes our business thrive- without their commitment, support, and passion we would never be able to serve our communitea!
