Today we’d like to introduce you to Camille Walker.
Hi Camille, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always been a lover of people, and education, and challenging myself to learn. My formal education is in Family and Consumer Sciences as I had planned to teach in the field of adult roles, finances, or child development. Life took me into the field of finance as I worked as a mortgage broker upon graduation. The year 2008 shook me & my world completely as the market crashed around us it was the year I lost my job but gained my greatest role as a mother. My son was born in the spring of 2008 and I was thrilled to finally take on the role of mother I’d always dreamed about becoming. I loved it. It terrified me of course, but it was absolutely amazing.
Within a few years, I was itching to share, teach, and reach beyond the walls of my home. Becoming a mother is and remains my favorite everything, but I knew I would be my best self if I could continue in that spirit of learning and sharing. I started a personal blog when my baby was born and a few years later created My Mommy Style. A place where mothers could embrace who they are and know that their instinctual self is the person their child needs.
Through the years I have worked with brands like Disney, Nintendo, Target & West Elm. I have adored building and sharing content that uplifts families, enriches home with recipes and creates a deep sense of family one memory making day at a time.
I am now running a team that helps me continue my blog as I am spending more of my day hours sharing stories of businesses built by my mother on my podcast Call Me CEO. It is the BEST.
One of the top questions I’ve had over the years is “how can I work from home and build a life I love with flexibility?”
I decided then to create my 60 Days to VA course and it has been my pleasure to witness it blessing so many women’s lives.
I am coaching women daily in growing their online businesses, building virtual assistant businesses, or learning how/when to hire a virtual assistant.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Definitely not smooth! Ha! I have been through 6 pregnancies, two miscarriages; and 4 births of the most precious children as I juggled the growth of my business.
Motherhood for me has always been the priority, however, I am often in a race with myself of figuring out which side of the balance I need to let win day to day.
I’ve made mistakes, gotten lost in the web of comparison, and lost many hours of sleep along the way.
Every trip has most definitely helped me grow. It can be easy to forget that when you’re in the midst of it all.
My husband has had to pull me back many times reminding me that I don’t have to push myself so hard. Achieving can be a blessing and a curse.

Endurance and understanding my why. It has never been a short game for me. Everything I start, I know it’s going to be something I’m building for the long haul.
I am very honest in my dealings & love people. That has blessed me more than any ad ever could.
I want women to know that they can have the life they’ve always wanted. Helping them discover what that is and walking them through it is the most incredible experience and honestly is something I never tire of.
