Exploring Life & Business with Casie Allan of The Er Fitness Method

Today we’d like to introduce you to Casie Allan.

Hi Casie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I’ve been passionate about health and fitness for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a household that prioritized an active lifestyle and healthy choices. Exercise has always been my go-to stress reliever and the thing that I turn to when I need a mental reset.

With a background in professional dance, I have always had a strong connection between my mind and body and this has only grown and blossomed over time. I love the way that our bodies are connected to our minds and understand firsthand how powerful and rewarding daily movement can be for the body both physically and emotionally.

When I became a mom 11 years ago, I realized how important it was to prioritize my mental and physical health. When you dedicate so much time and energy to your children, it’s easy to lose the importance of making time for self-health and love. I have been in the fitness industry as a coach, model, instructor, and professional for years and years, and always had a dream to create something truly unique in the world of exercise.

I wanted to make working out fun and rewarding and offer different ways to move that would help our bodies age gracefully. I wanted to create a program that would make exercise a priority as well as a desire and I wanted to do it in a way that was empowering and achievable no matter how busy or hectic your lifestyle.

With this vision, The Er Fitness Method was born! It will be 2 years in May since I launched my program and I couldn’t be happier with what I have created. My program offers busy women a means to prioritize their health and fitness without sacrificing their commitments and lifestyle. My workouts are fun, effective, and efficient. They require little to no equipment (we typically use a light hand and ankle weights only) and can be done anywhere and anytime- it’s all on your own schedule!

All of my workouts are between 25-35 minutes in length and are choreographed to uplifting music. The moves are killer and so unique, and the workouts fly by! I personally coach every workout and offer option for every fitness level. My workouts focus on establishing long, lean muscles throughout the body by moving the body differently and with purpose.

I use barre, pilates, sculpt, and functional training movement foundations in order to retrain our muscles to work with us instead of against us. Not only will you get leaner and stronger, but you will also improve your posture, flexibility, and mobility! I love what I do and how I can help other women find confidence in their bodies again! I feel so blessed to have a program that can help make people healthier and happier, inside and out!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting a business is never easy and takes a lot of guts, persistence, and passion. I remember feeling really nervous and intimidated to put myself out there for the world to see. It’s scary to share something so important and sacred to you with the rest of the world, knowing that you will receive criticism along with praise.

I think at the end of the day you must have the desire to just go for it and not worry about how you will be perceived. With big risk comes great reward! The process of creating my fitness business took a lot of time, energy, thought, and patience. I poured my blood, sweat, and tears into what I’ve created and have shifted and molded it over time to become something I am truly proud of.

The hardest part for me is time management. I went from being a full-time mom to running a business plus handling everything at home. I learned what my priorities were and how to balance my work/life obligations so that I could be successful both at home and in my business. It’s still hard and I struggle sometimes to get it all together, but that’s life and I’m learning and growing every day!

We’ve been impressed with The Er Fitness Method, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Er Fitness Program is an exercise program and App that offers busy women a means to prioritize their health and fitness without sacrificing their commitments and lifestyle. My workouts are fun, effective, and efficient. They require little to no equipment (we typically use a light hand and ankle weights only) and can be done anywhere and anytime- it’s all on your own schedule!

We use barre, pilates, sculpt, and functional training movement foundations in order to retrain our muscles to work with us instead of against us.

Not only will you get leaner and stronger, but you will also improve your posture, flexibility, and mobility! I have over 100 unique workouts on my program/app and add new ones every month. I also offer Weekly Workout Schedules in order for my members to stay consistent and motivated. My app also offers a recipe portal filled with healthy, real-food recipes, created by me that will help inspire cooking and make it easier and less stressful.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
I learned that life can change drastically at any moment. Covid flipped our world as we knew it upside-down. It also was a major inspiration for creating my fitness program so that I could continue to exercise no matter what was going on in the world. I realized that I actually loved working out at home and truly enjoyed the convenience of exercising when and where I wanted to, instead of adhering to the schedule of a gym or studio.

Covid also helped me realize what my true priorities in life were and that I wanted to focus my energy and attention on spending connected time with my family and friends.
