Today we’d like to introduce you to Diana Robbins. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Diana Robbins, LCSW, has been practicing for 30 in social work and private practice. She has had a lot of experience over the years in various social work positions which include: working for the Division of Child and Family Services for 19+ years, the clinical director of a detox and psychiatric hospital in Henderson Nevada, Hospice and Palliative care social worker, the Clinical Director of the Mental Health Unit at Utah State Prison, Gunnison, a therapist for Snow College, and has been in private practice for many years. Along the way, Diana realized that individual talk therapy was not so effective. She and her team are now trained in EMDR, and TF-CBT and focus on work with Trauma. Her dream was to launch a Wellness Center and thus Insight Counseling and Wellness Services was born.
At Insight Counseling and Wellness Services we have two office that are located in Orem and Ephraim, Utah. We also provide services for Juab County and the Children Justice Services in Ephraim and Nephi. We of course provide individual, family, and couples counseling. We also provide massage therapy, Energy Healing, Foot Zoning, and soon (March 2023) will be offering IV’ infusions and Ketamine treatment. We believe in healing the mind, body, and spirit. We are happy with the success we are having and are clients are benefiting. We offer groups for women, adolescents, and our newest is a faith transition group. We take most insurances.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Starting a new business is always challenging. Making your dreams come true provides an opportunity for growth and learning, as well as stress and frustrations. LOL. It has not been easy, but it has been worth it. It has been simply amazing to watch everything we have hoped for come into creation as we have needed. Connections have been made! Ideas have been formulated and implemented. Our team is flowing with good energy, ideas, and the most caring hearts. It has been amazing to watch Insight Counseling and Wellness take off and blossom.
We’ve been impressed with Insight Counseling and Wellness Services, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Insight Counseling and Wellness Services has been in the making since 1994. Our true focus in complete Wellness. We provide individual, family, and couples counseling. We accept most insurances or self-pay.
We also provide wellness services which include: massage, foot zoning, nutrition consultations, reiki, and energy healing. We will begin IV infusions and Ketamine treatment in March 2023. We are excited about this opportunity in our clinic.
Our therapists are all trained in EMDR and TF-CBT. We enjoy working with clients that have experienced trauma and helping them heal mind, body, and spirit. We have Spanish-speaking therapists also.
We offer several group opportunities also. Groups include: Woman’s Empowerment, Faith Transition, Adolescent Empowerment, and Yoga.
