Hi Hazel, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I got into entrepreneurship when I was still attending college at the University of Utah. I was and still am an ideas person, as many entrepreneurs are.
But one thing I realized quickly is there are so many nuanced obstacles business owners face alone. Structure, systems, failures and I realized we don’t have coworkers to turn to who understand… The only people who understand are… Other business owners. Other founders.
This is why I created Conscious Business Network. A network of support for business owners who are following their heart led, purpose driven mission with their businesses!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve seen some of the most beautiful instances of support in our Conscious Business Network. Who would have guessed that the people who would come and clean your house and bring you meals when you’re sick would be your business besties??
But it’s restored my faith in business. And in humanity discovering that there are so many business owners out here making ethical profits. Making their dreams come true while making the world a better place. Prioritizing people and the planet. Claiming success NOW by living and working in alignment with their values.
As you know, we’re big fans of Conscious Business Network. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
In our Inner Circle Community we meet 3 times a week on Zoom.
Mondays we have an intention setting meditation for the week to generate strong momentum and intention around what we want to accomplish and HOW we want to accomplish those things throughout our week.
Wednesdays we have Co-working Club. Yep. We meet on zoom and actually DO THE WORK together.
Friday’s we have Communi-Tea Time: a virtual tea party where we reflect on a thoughtful question of the week and really get to know each other.
