Hi John, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m currently the CEO of Johlar Inc. About eight years ago, I was doing Lyft and saw all the newer buildings going up and it impressed me to say hey why not me why can’t I do it as well? I have a lot of great ideas and it just takes a dream willpower and a lot of elbow grease to make a dream come true.
So Johlar, Inc. was born we are a website design and development company as well as management. We have our first website a dating website that has to be redesigned to fit the growing needs of the industry and then we have our auction website. Jortinc.com just launched and we have a nonprofit we are working on it’s a living rehab center for indigents to assist them in their addictions and help get them what they need to move forward in life.
We have plans for a social media page for the transportation industry as well as a delivery service site/app some games as well and a do-it-yourself credit repair. Also, plan on taking on another nonprofit in the next year once we get handup4u going.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, we have had a lot of personal challenges and growth along the way. As we have a small staff and budget this is going at a snail’s pace.

It helps us become more creative and opens up the world to many possibilities as well and our work can be done anywhere. Our latest site we just launched took 3 years to develop I am very proud of it. Jortinc.com auction website.
Networking and finding a mentor can have a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
I have don’t have a mentor pretty much been going this alone and learning as we go.
A lot of people find an out NY full-time job and it turns them away.
