Today we’d like to introduce you to Juniper Rose.
Hi Juniper, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I could see and hear beings on the other side of the veil ever since I can remember. When I was fourteen, I realized I could see and manipulate energy within the body to help relieve physical and emotional pain. I started channeling beings that I could hear through mediumship. Growing up in a highly religious community, it wasn’t received well by people outside of my family, so by the time I was in high school, I shut everything down.
It wasn’t until I began practicing witchcraft in 2017 that I started to open back up to my abilities again. I picked up my first tarot deck, and started reading for myself and close friends—and fell in love. I began doing tarot readings as a side gig outside of a vintage shop in Sugar House four years ago, and shortly after that I got my Reiki Master certification. I am now blessed to be doing what I love full time in my own space above Kahve Cafe, where I offer Tarot readings, mediumship, spell work, and Reiki energy healing.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Yes and no. It’s funny how everything aligns for you when you decide to do what you desire. Opportunities were placed in my path that allowed me to pursue what I do full-time. I have also experienced so much expansion and growth as an individual that has really helped me to be able to help others on their own journeys of healing and growth. Most of the challenges I do face are typical to what many other small businesses face; building and sustaining clientele, figuring out how to put myself out there in the local community and online spaces, and navigating running my own business.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I channel guidance through Tarot readings and mediumship to help clients connect with their spirit guides and passed loved ones. I offer spell work services, and provide Reiki energy healing sessions infused with folk-based practices rooted in ancestral wisdom. My intentions are to help create a safe and supportive environment for clients to overcome challenges, heal, and be empowered on their own journey of authenticity. It has been such an honor for me to get to work with and help everyone that has come to me, and witness their healing and growth over the past few years.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite memories is when I would host “tea parties” with faeries in my backyard with tiny porcelain tea sets. I would make mud-pie “cookies” and all kinds of concoctions with leaves, flowers and sticks.
