Exploring Life & Business with Kimberly Parry of Emergence Life Coaching. LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kimberly Parry

Hi Kimberly, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I am not your average personal stylist. Fashion isn’t my passion—people are.

I started my career as a religion teacher, drawn to philosophy, spirituality, and the deeper questions of life. I loved guiding people toward clarity and spiritual connection. But then, my own life unraveled when I lost my health, my career, and my marriage—all in the same year.

Through that experience, I learned the true cost of burnout. I also learned that the main source of burnout is living out of alignment with who you are—living up to other people’s rules and expectations while ignoring your own inner guidance.

That realization led me to coaching and, eventually, to personal styling. At first, those seemed like separate worlds, but I quickly found that combining personal development coaching with style education allowed my clients to reconnect with themselves and develop true, lasting confidence, inside and out.

Today, I’m Your Real Life Fairy Godmother™, helping modern, burned-out Cinderellas own their story, reclaim their power, and transform their lives from.

I’m also a professional speaker who helps individuals and organizations build burnout-proof personal brands, elevate their leadership, and design vibrant cultures where people and performance thrive.

I believe that true power isn’t about following trends or fitting into someone else’s mold. It’s about showing up authentically for the business of life.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. In fact, my journey has been anything but predictable.

One of the biggest struggles was moving from a familiar, structured career into the world of entrepreneurship. I had to let go of a lot of preconceived notions about what success should look like, face my own doubts, and learn to trust myself in a completely new way. It wasn’t just about career change—it was about shedding old layers of who I thought I should be, and stepping into a version of myself, even if it felt a little scary.

There’s also the challenge of navigating a space that’s often oversaturated. Personal branding, leadership, and burnout are all highly competitive fields, and finding my unique voice among the noise has been an ongoing process. But every struggle—every setback—has been a part of what makes my work resonate with others now. My struggles didn’t just teach me resilience; they showed me how to help others do the same.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: your personal brand–you IT factor–is all about knowing who you are, owning that, and showing up authentically in every aspect of your life. Trying to do or be anything else is the fast road to burnout.

Defining your Signature Soul Style™ isn’t about following trends or copying Pinterest boards. I’m not here to tell you how to wear the latest trends or fit into a one-size-fits-all mold. Instead, I help women reconnect with the deepest parts of themselves—using archetypal coaching to uncover their unique identity—and personal styling as a tool for empowerment and self-expression.

My styling services are one-of-a-kind experiences that blend pampered personal development with philosophical fashion, creating a fun, refreshing, and deeply transformative journey for women who are ready to reinvent both their look and their outlook on life.

But my work isn’t just for modern, burned-out Cinderellas.

As Your Real Life Fairy Godmother™, I also offer digital personal development courses and professional speaking services that help individuals and organizations create burnout-proof personal brands, develop human-centered leadership, and learn how to lead—and succeed—with style.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I grew up as a military brat, moving every two to three years—living everywhere from Oregon to Maine, South Dakota to Texas. The constant change wasn’t easy, but it became one of the greatest blessings of my life. I’ve lived in rural towns and inner cities, and I grew up immersed in Deaf culture after my mom became a sign language interpreter.

These experiences taught me the importance of understanding and embracing different perspectives. They sparked my passion for human-centered leadership—the belief that true leadership isn’t about control, but about connecting with people, understanding their needs, and leading with empathy.
