Today we’d like to introduce you to McCain Kennedy.
Hi McCain, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My first introduction to marketing was in my graphic design class in high school. I took two years of graphic design as an elective and had the opportunity to design advertisements for school events and on-campus organizations. I studied advertising with a minor in public relations in college. After college, I moved to Utah with my wife and started working at a marketing agency. After a while, people started asking if I could help them with their marketing in my free time. That is where my business Set Fire Creative started. For three years, it was a side business of mine with only a handful of clients. But in 2019, as I became much busier, I started hiring my first employees and eventually went full-time at Set Fire Creative. I’ve been doing it ever since.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Running a marketing agency over the last 6 years has not always been easy. The pandemic, economic uncertainties, and the rise of AI have caused us to make some shifts throughout the years.

Set Fire Creative is a digital marketing agency located in Lehi, UT. We offer paid social advertising, Google advertising, search engine optimization, and social media management services. We work specifically with small to mid-size businesses. We are proud to help small business owners and entrepreneurs grow their business.
How do you think about happiness?
My family. I have a wife, two sons, and a daughter on the way. They bring me the most joy and when I’m not working, I pretty much just want to spend time with them and go on adventures.
