Exploring Life & Business with Nicole Graf of Hidden Springs RV Resort

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Graf.

Hi Nicole , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hidden Springs RV Resort is a family owned and operated luxury resort in Ivins, Utah. The 24.5 acres has been in the family for over 100 years and building the resort was how we saved the property from being sold. Natural springs flow from the ground 24/7 365 days a year and fill our beautiful pond, where guests can fish, canoe or paddle board. We came up with the idea for an RV resort in 2015 and we worked diligently with the city, family and investors to get the land ready to build on. Nothing was easy about this project. After being told no dozens of times we finally secured the financing in Dec. 2022 from Cache Valley Bank and broke ground on the project March 23, 2023. After 18 months of construction and depleting every bit of funds we had we finally opened our doors in September of 2024. Many miracles had to happen to get us here today. We have the best support from our guests and despite push back from the city of Ivins we have had many people from the community stop by and tell us how happy they are about having our resort and what a beautiful place we have created. We love the property and we love sharing it with our guests and the community.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Absolutely not. It took us 18 months just to get an approval and land use permit from Ivins city. We had a lawsuit within the family as we were trying to secure the property. We had 1/2 a dozen investor tell us it was a great idea but they just wanted to buy it from us and didn’t want us involved in the project. Investors dropped out when Covid hit. Jon’s dad passed away. Ultimately its a miracle we are here today

We’ve been impressed with Hidden Springs RV Resort, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Hidden Springs is a luxury Rv Resort with 150 spaces for RVers, Sprinter vans, tent campers, cottages and suites. We love to share our beautiful amenities and amazing views. We have a huge gathering clubhouse space, mercantile store where you can buy goods from local artisans, pool and hot tub, playground. Our location is adjacent to BLM property with hiking, biking and horseback riding trails. We are truly a luxury resort with hundreds of 5 star google reviews. We created a place where people can come home and make core memories with family and friends. Our brand is a nod back to the farm life that once occupied this property. We preserved 2 acres where we have a small farm to show our guests what life used to be on the property. Don’t forget our 1 acre spring fed pond with catch and release fishing, canoes and paddle boats. We are the perfect destination for family reunions, small weddings or events (birthdays, anniversaries etc.) If you don’t have an RV. No problem, we have luxury cottages and suites on site with everything you would ever want or need. We sit on the far west side of Ivins, Utah which is designated as a dark skies city. So, we are close to groceries, restaurants, and entertainment, but you definitely feel like you are out of town camping.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Jon & I sold everything to make this dream a reality. So many sacrifices were made to build this beautiful place and we feel so honored to share it with others.
