Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Radway
Hi Taylor, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My start in business was unique. I was fired on my birthday. I was working as an Operations Manager for a security guard company and they were nice enough to give me my birthday off… and everyday after that. I was faced with a crossroads. Take a similar job or start my own security guard company. I choose to start my own. This started the craziest journey of my life. Business ownership isn’t for everyone. It’s hard. It’s lonely. It’s stressful. However, it is also one of the most rewarding things in life. While building my security company I started a service based company, a marketing group, and a sports agency. I was able to do this my finding and hiring solid team members that helped me build along the way. After about 5 years with the security guard company I sold it. It was bittersweet because I put so much blood, sweat, and tears into building that company but it was good to accomplish the goal of selling the company.
Since then I am in the process of acquiring a fairly large security guard company based on the East Coast. This is an exciting more as the business is positioned for tremendous growth.
I also partnered with a SaaS company that helps company’s with large sales forces increase their prospecting, recruiting, follow up, and conversion. This has become my new passion and I am in love with learning as much as I can about this space.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Ha! It has not but man it sure has been fun! Lots of sleepless nights. Lots of stress. Lots of ups and downs in the beginning. At multiple points I had to replace the entire staff. I had people steal from me, steal from the job sites, employees that made decisions that ultimately lost my company contracts.
With that being said, it has also created some of the best times and experiences!

I have a few different businesses at this point!
My marketing company, The Radway Group, is a passion for me. I LOVE marketing and everything that goes into it. Helping brands increase their sales is one of my favorite things to do!
My security guard company, is something I am very excited about! This is a large company that services multiple clients and states throughout the East Coast.
The SasS (software as a service) company, is where I spend majority of my time day to day. We have an app that has over 100,000 downloads internationally. This is the company that is currently exciting me the most and has me staying up late at night and waking up early in the morning to work on!
My sports agency, BEST Sports & Talent works with athletes from all different sports. We work on helping the athletes get paid by brand partnerships, sponsorships, or business partnerships. We work with all sports but specialize in combat sports athletes, rugby, and NIL.
