Hi Amy, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
. I got married at the age of 16 and had my first child. Finished high school through a teen pregnancy school.i always knew I wanted to do my own thing. At that time I did different things like at one point I started a nanny service, then a cleaning business all which I’ve been very lucky and all my entrepreneurial adventures. They have been pretty successful anyways fast-forward. I was working as a Doula, hoping to go to midwifery school and then realize that that might not be such a good idea. At that time. I had four children and knew I wanted to have more children one of my clients was in aromatherapist. I was fascinated with the way aromatherapy work during her birth so then I enrolled in the east with school of aromatic and herbal medicine. I today work as an aromatherapist, and I have a product, a solid lotion bar that I have created along with I sell a few essential oil blends and it’s just a very successful business.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The one main thing I would say that has been a struggle is living in a rural area and trying to figure out how to get my products in front of people
