Today we’d like to introduce you to David Sanchez.
Hi David, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Everything started in 2017, at that time I was working as a warehouse manager in a place I worked for 15 year, I always took care of that company as if it was mine, and suddenly that intense feeling of actually taking care of something mine got to my mind since that day over and over, I wanted to create something not sure what I wanted it for I was determined to do something and build a legacy for my family. One day one of my best friends invited me to work for the weekend cleaning some carpets, not sure why, but since that day something clicked on my mind and I thought…this is it! This is what I want.
So I started watching more videos, learning about chemistry, and learning about the industry, the more I studied the more it became a passion for me, I started working on Weekends and more and more jobs were coming up, and more jobs in the week after my full time job, until I got to the point where I had to decide… to keep my 15-year good salary job….or starting this scary entrepreneurship adventure.
The rest is history, I quit my full time and started my journey, I was so scared at the beginning I have 4 kids and all we had at that time was my income, but my wife Cesi was also brave enough to support and encourage me to take this big step, and today I can say, it has been the best decision of my life.
At that time I had no fancy equipment, just a profound desire and hungry for success, that I took what I had and went all in!
From having zero customers and just a little portable equipment, driving our family van, and hunting every day, until today that we were able to acquire professional grade equipment and transportation as of today we have over 300 customers all across Utah and salt lake county.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Of course, it was not easy, can you imagine having 4 kids, a mortgage, bills and everything coming in after you quit your full-time weekly pay day?
But our determination to make stuff happen was stronger than any fear for me and my wife.
After we started with this business more challenges came a cross, equipment wise, time wise, we had to use our family van to load my equipment and meet my customers, and come back on time so my wife was able to pick up our kids from school.
Our equipment broke, some money that we had saved at that time we had to used it for repairs, it was not easy for me either because in this industry when you hire a carpet cleaning services you expect some big van vehicle, wrapped and with a big machine inside pulled in to your driveway, but when I got with some customers, sometimes, I felt embarrassed because I saw their faces when seeing my equipment, but it was all I had .. that.. and a great attitude to win!!!
Most of those customers are my regular customers today and thank them that giving me the opportunity to show them that I was determined to succeed and I was going to do the best job I could!

What were you like growing up?
At this point always think… I wish I had this mentally at my twenties Nowadays I see the world differently, no limitations, always opportunities to grow,
I grew up most of my life in Mexico where I was born, but since I remembered, I always had the desire inside of me for coming to the United States. I always liked the English language, I always was in the front row of my English classes when I was a kid in my country.
Always felt that love for a country that I never knew at that time, so I was determined to come here. I didn’t know when or even how ..but I knew that day would come.
