Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabby Carter
Hi Gabby, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
It all started when I got my first camera in 2019 for Christmas and begged my siblings to let me take their pictures. Years later while working as a welder on the roof of a building, I brought up my desire to be a photographer to my sister and her encouragement was the push that started me on this path! I created my very first website and several social media accounts and started putting my work out there. All of the support of my family, friends, and the community have brought me to where I am today!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Starting any small business is hard. Trust from your clients and community doesn’t just fall out of the sky, that’s something you have to build as you go. Sometimes it takes longer than you expected, but never giving up gets you to places you never thought you’d be! To some, it may look like I’ve had a slow start, but I’m farther along than I ever could have imagined for myself!

I’m a photographer and I take all kinds of pictures! Families, couples, seniors, missionaries, brands, portraits, dances, friends, engagements, weddings… you name it and I’ll capture it! I do all I can to make sure your photos come back true to the color they were taken in. I love to have fun during photo shoots and use any ideas that come to your mind too! Capturing your moments makes me a happy girl!
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
The person who has been my number one supporter in my photography journey is my sister, Isabelle Carter. She has been my biggest cheerleader, confidant, and best model.
My parents and siblings also deserve credit for the support and encouragement they have given me. My brother is always referring me to others and tells me, “I just want to support your business.”
I also want to shout out all of my clients! I would not be where I am today without you! Thank you so much!
