About Top Nails & Hair Beauty School
In September 1989, sisters Ms. Huong and Ms. Huong (Hương “Jasmine “ & Hường) and our family of total 9 children and our parents settled in the state of Utah from Vietnam. With a strong desire to support and uplift the local community, we worked tirelessly to build a better future for ourselves and those around us.
In 2005, with the goal of providing a professional training environment where people could earn licenses in cosmetology — including hair styling, facials, nails, permanent makeup, eyelash extensions, and more — Top Nails & Hair Beauty School was founded.
Over the past 20 years, the we two sisters have successfully trained thousands of students from various ethnic backgrounds, with the majority being Vietnamese. Many of these students have gone on to establish stable careers and create better lives for themselves and their families.
We are deeply grateful for the trust our students have placed in us over the years. It is our pride and honor to contribute to building a strong, thriving, and supportive community.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Our highest priority has always been to help students master their skills and pass the state board exams to earn their licenses. One of the biggest challenges we face is the language barrier, as many of our students speak English as a second language.
Despite this, our students work incredibly hard — and their dedication has paid off. Over the years, they have achieved one of the highest state board passing rates in Utah, a testament to their determination and the support they receive at our school.
