Hidden Gems: Meet Joshua Jamias of Jamias Creative

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joshua Jamias.

Hi Joshua, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
I started off doing freelance writing and social media for a handful of clients while in college in 2014.

I also took whatever internships and marketing jobs I could to build up my skillset and further my education outside of the classroom. These experiences led to more opportunities eventually preparing me to do what I’m doing now as a co-owner of Jamias Creative.

We do social media marketing and content marketing so business owners can focus on what they do best.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have definitely been struggles along the way. Most of these struggles have been a result of knowledge gaps or lack of experience.

Some of them include not knowing how to recognize red flags of a bad client, how to create systems to help us stay on track and succeed, as well as how to network efficiently. We’ve been able to navigate these tough spots thanks to other successful business owners who have been willing to share their knowledge with us.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We provide social media and content marketing services for businesses of different industries and sizes.

There are 3 tiers of brands we work with:
1. Full-service social media marketing clients who pay $2-7k/month. This includes photography, graphics, captions, responding to comments/direct messages/reviews
2. Content creation clients who pay $400-1k/month. They receive all the social media content they need a month at a time. Clients then schedule posts and manage their own platforms.
3. Consulting clients who pay $100/hour for strategy and Q&A. We review what they’re currently doing and help them generate a practical plan they can implement for real results.

Not every agency out there actually creates original content for your brand. Some only post but you still have to do things like take photos and write captions. Sure, we’re not for everyone but if what we do interests you, send us an email!

Who else deserves credit in your story?
We’ve been very fortunate to have different business leaders in our local Utah community who have freely given beneficial advice. They’ve helped us recognize which resources we needed to access and challenged us to improve.
