Hi Karissa Jackson & Apolonia Silva, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
We both worked together at a hormone clinic in the valley for several years, and during that time we realized we shared the same vision—not only in how we wanted to treat patients’ hormones, but also in the level of care and quality of service we believed people deserve. After doing market research and combining that with our love for the mountains, we decided to open our own clinic in Park City. Our goal has always been to create a welcoming space where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their health journey.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t all been a smooth road. While we both have strong backgrounds in the medical field, stepping into the world of business ownership brought a whole new set of challenges. Learning how to navigate marketing, social media, and the business side of things—while still prioritizing the quality of care we provide—has been a big adjustment. Time management has probably been one of the toughest parts: balancing patient care with everything it takes to run a clinic behind the scenes.

Aura Vida Health & Wellness is a specialty clinic in Park City focused on helping people feel their best from the inside out. We specialize in bioidentical hormone therapy, but also offer support in weight management, sexual wellness, and aesthetics—because we know health is multi-dimensional.
What sets us apart is the way we approach care. We’re known for our education, transparency, and the relationships we build with our patients. We take the time to really get to know each person, listen to their story, and personalize their care plan.
We’re also Worldlink-certified, which means we have advanced training in hormones and stay up to date with the latest, evidence-based research. This allows us to not only treat symptoms but to educate and empower our patients with science-backed guidance.

What are your plans for the future?
Looking ahead, we’re excited to expand further into aesthetics, offering more options to help our patients look as good as they feel. At the same time, our bigger vision is to continue growing as leaders in the bioidentical hormone space. We want to be at the forefront of evidence-based care, education, and patient support—setting the standard for how hormone health is approached and delivered.
