Hi Nayreth, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my family child care program in 2018 with the goal of creating a safe, nurturing, and educational environment where children could learn through play and exploration. As a bilingual provider, I wanted to support both children’s academic and social-emotional development while helping families feel confident that their children were receiving high-quality care.
Over the years, I have continued to grow professionally by completing training, participating in Utah CCQS, and earning High Quality certification. I have expanded my curriculum, enhanced my learning environment, and built strong relationships with the families I serve. Today, I am proud to provide a high-quality bilingual early learning program that prepares children for kindergarten while fostering curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not always been a smooth road. Like many small business owners, I faced challenges such as building enrollment, managing the financial responsibilities of running a business, and balancing work with family life. Opening and growing a family child care program also required meeting licensing requirements, completing ongoing professional development, and continuously improving the quality of my program. Despite these challenges, each obstacle helped me grow stronger, and I remained committed to providing a safe, high-quality learning environment for the children and families I serve.
We’ve been impressed with ABC Educational Home Care, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
ABC Educational Home Care is a bilingual, high-quality family child care program in Eagle Mountain, Utah, serving children from infancy through school age. We provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children learn through play, hands-on experiences, and meaningful relationships.
Our program specializes in bilingual early education, kindergarten readiness, and social-emotional development. We offer a structured preschool curriculum, healthy meals and snacks through the CACFP food program, daily outdoor play, sensory activities, and opportunities for children to explore, create, and build confidence.
What sets us apart is our commitment to quality. We are proud to be a Utah CCQS High Quality Certified program, continually investing in professional development and evidence-based practices to provide the best possible care. We intentionally keep a warm, family-like atmosphere where every child is known, valued, and supported as an individual.
Above all, we want families to know that our goal is to partner with them in helping their children thrive. We are proud to provide a place where children feel safe, loved, and excited to learn every day.
What’s next?
My goal for the future is to continue expanding my business while maintaining the high-quality, personalized care that families value. I look forward to serving more children, enhancing our learning environment, and offering even more opportunities for early childhood education. I also plan to continue growing professionally by pursuing additional training, certifications, and leadership opportunities so I can provide the best possible care and education for the children and families in my community.
