Today we’d like to introduce you to Raul Perez.
Hi Raul, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I grew up in San Diego. After I graduated, I came up here to St George to go to Dixie. I served a mission, got my associate’s degree, & moved to Vegas to finish. I lived in Vegas over 20yrs until Covid hit and I moved back to San Diego. I moved back up to St George at the beginning of 2025 and got a job at Liberty Mutual, so it has kind of been one big circle… lol
St George was a little too small back in the 90’s but I love it now! My brother lives here with his family & Utah is now my home forever…
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I don’t know anyone that hasn’t had struggles.
What I do know is that working solved everything.
Depression, no money, relationship issues… I just worked! Being as hard worker has helped me more than anything in life.
We’ve been impressed with Comparion Insurance Agency, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Liberty Mutual saw the writing on the wall a few years ago that having only one product just doesn’t work anymore. Because we have Liberty Mutual on our books, that makes us one of the largest agencies in the country…
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My fiancée Brooke has played a massive role in my career!
We went to high school together & reconnected during Covid and she is the one who got me into insurance, she has been an agent for over 20yrs!
I would still be in Vegas, working nights, if it hadn’t been for her…
