Hidden Gems: Meet Robyn Nielson of Unified Hot Yoga

Today we’d like to introduce you to Robyn Nielson

Hi Robyn, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey to opening Unified Hot Yoga has been a culmination of years of teaching, passion, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

After years of teaching at various studios round the valley, I knew it was time to open my studio. A space where our community can feel safe, accepted, inspired and supported. Not only physically, but mind and spirit as well.

Having owned several businesses in the past, I know what it takes to build something meaningful from the ground up. Combining my love of business with my love for physical movement has created a business plan I am truly excited about.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
We cannot wait to open our doors in March. We have spent the last year overcoming many obstacles to get us to where we are. We learned adding 20 large infrared panels and a commercial grade humidifier to a 1,350 square foot room requires a lot of planing, engineering, approvals and groundwork. It will all be worth it!

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Unified Hot Yoga?
Unified Hot Yoga is not your ordinary yoga studio. Yes, we have an amazing space with phenomenal teachers, but we are dedicated to providing a space that is safe everybody and every BODY. You will feel the difference.

We offer Hot Pilates, Hot Vinyasa and a Signature Hot Flow in our state is the art infrared light heated hot room. Hot room not your jam? No worries, we got you. We also offer non heated vinyasa, TRX, pump, and strength fuse in our non heated studio.

We have 6 showers onsite so you can easily shower after class and continue with your day.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I am thrilled to get to being yoga, pilates and other modalities to our community. I am committed to building this community with our love and acceptance for all.
