Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Montano.
Hi Victoria, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
In 2019, I planned my wedding and thought, “Man, this is stressful but I kind of like it!”
After my wedding, I did some research and start taking courses on event and wedding planning, and it kind of just took off from there! I have always been a hopeless romantic and I loved watching Rom-Coms like “The Proposal” and “The Princess Bride”, and I loved weddings. I probably planned hundreds of weddings as a teenager, and more now that I know what goes into them!
My goal is to build Events by Vee, SLC as the wedding community grows and more brides need help. Our 5-year goal is to open a photo studio or small venue and offer services there as well! Our mission is to help as many couples as we can and help take some stress off of them as possible!
We love our locals and communities so we hope to branch out from weddings to other events in the near future!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
We definitely had some struggles in the first year or two. When the pandemic hit, I didn’t think we would survive it as a new business.
We started off with 3 weddings in 2019, then about 8 in 2020. In 2021, weddings started happening more and we just took off from there!

Events by Vee, SLC specializes in weddings but we offer other services and events!
As wedding planners and coordinators, we offer experienced, professional resources, and most importantly, our time to busy couples. Many engaged couples don’t have the hours in the day to plan, design, and create their dream wedding with everything else going on in life. That is where we come in!
We always say that we are your “Personal Wedding Assistant” for your big day, and we mean it! Our jobs on your wedding day are to make sure that it runs as smoothly as possible so that you and your friends/family can enjoy the celebration with you. We take the stress and hassle of set-up, take down, and managing the vendors off of your shoulders.
We love making dreams come true for all events, so we will continue to grow our team and services!
What do you think about happiness?
Professionally, seeing the couples have a great time at their wedding and seeing their dream come into reality!
Knowing that we help bring their Pinterest board to life and seeing the smiles on the couples, and guests always feels like we accomplished our goals.
Personally, my family makes me happy! I have three cats, two dogs, and a husband. And they are my life. My husband is my biggest fan and supporter!
