Hi Andrey, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been an entrepreneur for more than 20 years, and when I moved to Utah I met my now business partner Moe, who had the idea for a Hop On Hop Off tour in Salt Lake City. He asked me to help, and I loved the concept immediately. With my background in building and scaling businesses, I jumped in to help turn his vision into reality. Together we launched SLC Bus Tours, starting with a closed-top double-decker and then expanding to night tours and seasonal experiences. Today we’re proud to be Salt Lake’s official Hop On Hop Off service, connecting visitors with the city’s history, culture, and local businesses while continually growing our routes and partnerships.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was a steep learning curve as there are a lot of moving parts in this business. Bus can break down, technology in this space is lagging, and on top of that it is my first experience working with a business partner.

SLC Bus Tours is Salt Lake City’s official Hop On Hop Off sightseeing service. We specialize in making the city easy to explore by connecting visitors with its history, culture, and local businesses through guided tours on our double-decker fleet. What sets us apart is the combination of professional narration, comfortable buses, and exclusive partnerships with attractions and restaurants—our riders not only see the city but also enjoy special discounts and curated experiences along the way. We’re especially proud of building strong community connections that highlight local gems while offering visitors an experience they can’t get anywhere else. Beyond our daytime Hop On Hop Off service, we also run a popular Night Tour and plan themed seasonal programs later this year.
