Today we’d like to introduce you to Bentlee Rogers.
Hi Bentlee, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
When I was in 3rd grade I entered into a photography contest at my school. I ended up winning. The picture I used was shot on an iPhone with some very simple editing but it was right then and there I was in love. In 4th grade I started taking pictures of puppies and kept up with that till I got my first camera. I started almost right away with very little knowledge. Over time I got better and that’s led me to where I am today. I am 17 years old with a very successful business before I have even graduated and couldn’t be more thankful!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Probably the trickiest thing for me was saving up the money for my mirrorless camera. It was very frustrating at times using the crappy 15 year old camera I had, but I pushed through and earned enough for my new camera.
As you know, we’re big fans of Pics By Bent. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I specialize in crisp and beautiful photography. I love capturing people and beautiful moments that you keep forever. I have a very different editing style than most I feel like. I think my style is very unique. I’m most proud of the many shoots I’ve done in such a short amount of time and how much I’ve improved. I want people to know how affordable I am, and how much I truly care about your happiness and confidence in the images I provide. I offer any type of photography. I even have a studio set up.
How do you define success?
I define success as something you find yourself happy doing forever.
