Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Hansen.
Hi Jennifer , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started as a florist at the age of 19 and fell in love with design. I worked for many amazing companies in the floral industry and learned so much and took what I liked and applied it to my own company. I’ve learned how to get exposure through Photoshoots and met incredibly talented vendors. Now I’m learning to scale and grow and hope to be able to find my team. I want to build a positive and fun space for talented artist to come together and design more beautiful weddings for my clients. It’s been fun doing it alone but I’m ready to have help. I’m excited for this I hope this year I’ll be able to expand further. My company mantra is flowers always bring a smile I actually love seeing others receive their flowers some are so surprised, others get tearful because someone thought of them and moments like these make me happy. I love making others feel joy. Flowers have the ability to do just that. My company Botanical Eden takes everyday orders and specializes on special occasions like WEDDINGS. I have been on two covers and many more magazine editorials and I hope to continue to elevate my brand. I also cater to garden gifts since gardening is my passion. I think I’m a bit obsessed with flowers so I love sharing them with others.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Running a business is never a smooth road. It teaches you to quickly pivot and navigate in such a way to think on your toes. I’ve experienced a lot of obstacles personally and in business, but you move on. You learn, you grow. and you improve and figure it out, and overcome. There are sometimes tearful moments of frustration behind the scenes, late nights designing, lack of sleep, ebbs and flows. Faking it and carving out an unknown path and sometimes it’s scary. But GOD is my business partner and somehow I’m led and taught what comes next. I’m making something from nothing and it has been a learning process.

We cater to the DIY culture in Utah so it’s a positive experience. Our brand is about loving others. Service and bringing smiles to others every day.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I have a few things in the works with expansion. I am looking for permanent spots to plant roots in communities I’m working out of a warehouse as my floral studio at the moment and am in the process of finding permanent shops. I’m ready to serve my community and find where I will settle.
