Hi Jennifer and Phil, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Pishon River Travel – We both possess a deep passion for traveling the world as much as possible, not only for ourselves but for others as well. We are marveled at the wonderful creations that God has placed on this earth. All the different cultures, historical artifacts, and serene beaches captivate our interest. We had our wedding in the Cayman Islands, we’ve traveled frequently to Africa, The Caribbean, and Europe. We know there’s more to traveling than just booking a flight and a hotel. There are so many restrictions, prerequisites, and options available. We wanted to assist and guide others to achieve their dream vacations as we do every year.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
So, before we decided to start the travel agency, we prayed, asking God to guide us, and to bless and anoint this venture. It required a lot of sacrifice, training, and research. However, God saw us through it all. The beginning started out rough. We didn’t have a clue on how we would get access to different travel vendors, travel organizations, and licenses. We started with one organization that promised we would be successful as travel agents through their affiliation, but it turned out to be fashioned almost like a pyramid scheme. This discouraged us greatly. Until further research and investments allowed us to separate from that organization and become more independent as a travel agency. We were able to acquire the proper training and licensing to set us up for success.
