Ink Oil started with a lively trio: a tattooed daughter with a passion for body art, her skeptical religious mom, and a brother who knew his way around a pharmacy. The daughter loved her tattoos but struggled to find natural aftercare. Her mom, despite her initial doubts, saw her daughter’s dedication and wanted to help. Enter the brother, who mixed up a magic potion that was both safe and effective.
And so, Ink Oil was born! Our first product was a hit, soothing and healing tattoos with a natural touch. But we didn’t stop there. Soon, we were crafting essential oil blends for baby bumps, beards, and even our furry friends.
Now, Ink Oil is a beloved brand, trusted for its commitment to quality and natural goodness. Our journey from skepticism to success shows the power of love, collaboration, and a bit of creative magic.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Starting a new company in the world of tattoo artists is no easy feat. The market is fiercely competitive, with established brands dominating the shelves and a tight-knit community that values trust and reputation. As newcomers, we faced skepticism and resistance, often struggling to convince artists to give our products a try. Countless hours were spent at conventions, building relationships and proving our commitment to quality and natural ingredients. We had to navigate the delicate balance between respecting the artistry and tradition of tattooing while introducing innovative aftercare solutions. It was a challenging journey, but we stayed persistent and expanded our range of products to care for all sorts of people and their pups.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was always drawn to tattoos. I remember being fascinated by the art and meaning behind them from a very young age. The moment I turned 18, I got my first tattoo—it was something I had been eagerly waiting for. I was also incredibly creative, always dabbling in arts and crafts, and constantly coming up with new ideas. Entrepreneurship was in my blood; even as a kid, I was always dreaming up little businesses and projects. These passions naturally came together when we started Ink Oil, allowing me to blend my love for tattoos, creativity, and entrepreneurship into something truly special.
