Inspiring Conversations with Michelle Jorgensen of Living Well with Dr. Michelle

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Jorgensen.

Hi Michelle, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m thrilled to be here! My story really started in a dental chair—but not in the way you might expect. I had been practicing traditional dentistry for over a decade, building a busy practice and raising four little kids when suddenly, my body started falling apart. I couldn’t sleep, my hands went numb while I was working, and I was in constant pain. Doctor after doctor told me it was “just stress,” but I knew something deeper was wrong.

Eventually, I discovered I had mercury poisoning—from drilling out silver fillings. I was literally being poisoned by my own profession. That revelation changed everything. I walked away from traditional dentistry and into the world of holistic health, searching not just for a way to get better—but for answers. I found those answers by asking a better question—not “What’s the right medicine?” but “What do my cells need to be well?”

And that’s what I’ve dedicated my life to ever since.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Smooth? Oh, not even close. But it’s been worth every bump.

I’ve learned that the greatest transformations often come through the hardest experiences. Being sick forced me to let go of what I thought I knew and get curious again. I’ve learned that wellness isn’t found in a pill or a plan—it’s found in the quiet wisdom of your own body, if you’re willing to listen.

I’ve also learned that you don’t have to choose between modern medicine and traditional wisdom. True healing often comes when you step outside the box and say, “What if it’s not either-or… what if it’s both—and?” That kind of thinking has helped me heal—and now it’s helping thousands of others.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Here’s the thing—if you’re truly in the business of helping people, then your business can’t be just about money. When I started focusing on service instead of sales—when I leaned into abundance instead of fear—everything shifted.

I’m generous. I’m optimistic. And I truly want what’s best for my patients, my team, and the people I serve in all my businesses. That mindset has created a ripple effect of trust, loyalty, and impact. Business flows better when your heart is in the right place. And I’ve learned that success always follows service.

Any big plans?
Oh, we’ve got big things coming.

In May, my newest book Living Well with Dr. Michelle is launching. It’s more than a health book—it’s a guide to helping people listen to their symptoms, understand their body’s “season,” and give their cells exactly what they need to thrive. It’s personalized, rooted in science and nature, and unlike anything out there.

And in 2026, I’ll be filming a docuseries where I retrace the steps of Dr. Weston Price, one of the original health pioneers. We’re going to uncover what ancient cultures knew about wellness and translate that into modern, practical tools anyone can use. I’m so excited to bring the elements and seasons of the earth back into the health conversation—and show that the best healing isn’t found in a lab… it’s found in the soil beneath our feet.
