Today we’d like to introduce you to Rotsy Casas.
Hi Rotsy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Rotsy Casas, I’m a content creator, UGC mentor, and digital product entrepreneur.
I’m originally from Colombia, and four years ago, I made the bold decision to move to the United States in search of growth, both personally and professionally.
Since I was a little girl, I’ve always felt drawn to the world of video filming, editing, and storytelling were my favorite ways to express myself. But I never imagined that this passion could evolve into a career.
Like many immigrant women, I started from zero working as a nanny, in restaurants, doing deliveries whatever it took to keep going. But I never lost sight of that creative spark inside me.
Everything changed when I discovered the world of UGC (User Generated Content). I started creating videos for brands from home without needing thousands of followers just by being myself and letting my creativity shine.
As I grew in the industry, I realized how many other women could benefit from this opportunity. That’s when I created my own UGC guide, a complete step by step resource to help women start earning from home, working with brands using only their phone, voice, and vision.
Today, I generate income through content creation, collaborations with brands, and by selling digital products designed to empower other women. I’ve had the honor of mentoring over 50 women on my team, many of whom are moms or women who, for different reasons, can’t work outside the home and seeing their transformation has been the most rewarding part of this journey.
My mission is simple: to show that you don’t need to be an influencer to make money online. If you’re passionate, curious, and ready to learn you can build your own version of freedom.
And I’m living proof that it’s possible.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
When I look back at my journey, the obstacles I faced have truly shaped who I am today.
One of the biggest challenges was, without a doubt, starting from scratch when I moved to the U.S. I had no network, no solid job prospects, and I didn’t know anyone in the industry. It was overwhelming at first, but I didn’t let that stop me. I had a vision, and even though I didn’t have a clear roadmap, I knew that if I stayed persistent, I could create my own opportunities.
Another major challenge was learning how to navigate the world of UGC and digital marketing without a background in the field. I had to teach myself everythingm. how to negotiate with brands, how to create content that stood out, and how to manage my time and finances as a business owner. It was a lot of trial and error, and many late nights researching, practicing, and refining my skills.
As a woman in a competitive industry, there were also times when self doubt crept in. I questioned whether I was doing enough or if I was on the right path. It was hard not to compare myself to others, especially when I wasn’t seeing immediate success. But through those moments of uncertainty, I learned the importance of trusting myself and embracing my unique journey.
And of course, there were technical challenges, like figuring out how to juggle creating content while managing my digital products, mentorship, and everything else that comes with running a business. Balancing work with my personal life, especially after moving to a new country and being away from family, was tough at times, but it also pushed me to become more organized and resilient.
Despite all these challenges, I kept going. I realized that every obstacle was an opportunity to grow, and each setback made me more determined. Today, I see those challenges not as barriers, but as stepping stones that have brought me closer to where I am now, helping other women achieve their own financial freedom and creative independence.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about UGC Content Creator & Mentor?
My business is centered around helping others generate income through digital products and content creation.
I specialize in selling digital products with resale rights, which means people can purchase these products and resell them to earn 100% of the profits. This business model allows anyone to get started without needing to create their own products from scratch, making it an accessible way to generate income.
In addition, I offer my UGC Guide, which teaches women how to work with brands in various niches, including beauty, self-care, motherhood, pets, and more without needing a huge following. I break down the step-by-step process of how to create high-quality content, land brand deals, and build a sustainable business in the digital world, no matter what niche you’re in.
To make sure my clients succeed, I provide a support group and chat where I’m actively involved, guiding them and offering the support they need to grow. I believe in empowering my clients to thrive, and I’m dedicated to helping them build their businesses and achieve their goals.
My approach focuses on making the process easy, accessible, and personalized, so anyone can succeed, regardless of their experience or social media following.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
For me, success is all about the ability to share it with others.
Success isn’t just about achieving personal milestones or making money it’s about the impact I can have on others’ lives. To me, the most beautiful part of success is being able to see the results of my hard work and, most importantly, sharing those results with the people I mentor and teach.
Success is being able to help others reach their goals, whether that’s through my digital products, my UGC guide, or my mentorship. Seeing the women I work with grow, achieve financial independence, and create the lives they’ve always dreamed of that’s the real reward. Success for me is knowing that I’m not just growing, but that I’m helping others grow alongside me.
