Life & Work with Barbara Irwin of Saint George, Utah

Today we’d like to introduce you to Barbara Irwin.

Hi Barbara, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started in the Real Estate industry in 1994 in California. My now ex-husband was in the Navy and attending San Jose State. I worked in the banking industry and migrated into Real Estate as many do, first as a Loan Officer, then Real Estate agent. Through the years, Real Estate has changed tremendously. I have worked in the capacity of a Principal Broker since 2002. In 2024, I started back to school to obtain a Bachelor’s degree and fell in love with my major of criminal law. I completed my degree in 1 year with a 3.99 GPA and am now pursuing a Master’s degree. I am also currently a Court rostered Mediator in the State of Utah. I plan to pursue a Juris Doctorate starting in September of 2026 to pursue a career in Real Estate law. All things real estate.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been an adventurous road, and lots of bumps and turns along the way for sure. Nothing in life is easy

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I love Real Estate and assisting people in buying and selling their homes. I have ventured into mediation to assist people in their disagreements after the close of the transactions as well

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I was very outgoing, loved to be around people. I have friends in almost every state and have always been accepting of all people
