Hi Melissa & Cristian, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My husband, Cristian, and I are both Mexican-Americans, raised to honor our culture and traditions. Growing up in Utah, we were constantly reminded of the importance of staying connected to our roots and passing down those traditions. Now, as adults and parents, we’re committed to spreading the passion for our heritage and sharing the beauty of our Mexican traditions not just with our children but with the world. This is why we started QUE PEX! ❤️
Our mission is to inspire others—whether they grew up in a similar household or have no Hispanic background at all—to experience the cultural connection and understand the value of tradition.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Far from a smooth road! However, we’re learning to embrace and celebrate our challenges. We do our best to recognize them as lessons that will help us grow along with QUE PEX. 🙂
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a stay-at-home mom to two toddlers and another little one on the way! For anyone who can relate, this job is never-ending, but it’s so incredibly fulfilling. I feel beyond blessed to be at home with my babies, helping raise the next generation while also nurturing and growing our family business.
My husband, Cristian Campuzano, is self-employed and the proud owner of Zanos Tile. He and his team specialize in tile installation for custom homes. Watching his success has been such an inspiration, showing us that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible.
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
We’re big fans of listening to entrepreneur podcasts—anything that’s inspiring or educational. As for books, our favorite by far is *The Secret* by Rhonda Byrne. We’re passionate about learning the principles of the law of attraction and learning to make them a part of our everyday lives.
